The National Road Trauma Centre Resource Hub is a New Zealand-first self-navigation and public education tool that brings together clear, trusted and neutral information about road trauma in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Resources are informed by current evidence, official New Zealand government guidance and evidence-based practice. They support learning, self-navigation and informed conversations about care and recovery.
The Resource Hub enables people to explore, read and better understand the breadth and impact of road trauma across harm prevention, emergency response, hospital care, primary care, rehabilitation and recovery. It also helps explain how different parts of the response and care pathway connect.
The information is general in nature and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified health professional.
Resources are reviewed regularly and updated when important evidence, legislation or official guidance changes.
If You Need Help
If you are in immediate danger or may be seriously injured, call 111.
If you have been injured but it is not an emergency, contact your general practitioner or an urgent medical centre for advice. You can also call Healthline free on 0800 611 116 at any time for advice about your symptoms and where to get care.
Some injuries may not be immediately obvious after a road crash. Seek medical advice if you feel unwell, develop new symptoms, or existing symptoms become worse.
